From fa5b952c547aa658c5ea3ca09c20e80948d3ea6c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: John O'Keefe Date: Wed, 21 Oct 2026 20:21:58 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] =?UTF-8?q?fix(audio-reader):=20valid=20doctype=20?= =?UTF-8?q?=E2=80=94=20page=20loaded=20in=20quirks=20mode?= MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit audio_reader.templ was the only template emitting (trailing slash is a parse error), which put the audio player page in quirks mode — document.compatMode was BackCompat while every other page is CSS1Compat. Quirks layout rules are a standing hazard for the player's h-screen/flex page even where it happens to render. Drop the slash. --- templates/audio_reader.templ | 2 +- templates/audio_reader_templ.go | 2 +- 2 files changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/templates/audio_reader.templ b/templates/audio_reader.templ index ff9d9623..4b95ea91 100644 --- a/templates/audio_reader.templ +++ b/templates/audio_reader.templ @@ -10,7 +10,7 @@ package templates import "fmt" templ AudioReader(user User, metadata ReaderMetadata) { - + { "Listening · " + metadata.Title } · Bookhoard diff --git a/templates/audio_reader_templ.go b/templates/audio_reader_templ.go index b1732144..89bc9f01 100644 --- a/templates/audio_reader_templ.go +++ b/templates/audio_reader_templ.go @@ -38,7 +38,7 @@ func AudioReader(user User, metadata ReaderMetadata) templ.Component { templ_7745c5c3_Var1 = templ.NopComponent } ctx = templ.ClearChildren(ctx) - templ_7745c5c3_Err = templruntime.WriteString(templ_7745c5c3_Buffer, 1, "") + templ_7745c5c3_Err = templruntime.WriteString(templ_7745c5c3_Buffer, 1, "<!doctype html><html lang=\"en\"><head><title>") if templ_7745c5c3_Err != nil { return templ_7745c5c3_Err }
