Create templates/series.templ with:
- Library selector dropdown (sticky, same pattern as dashboard)
- Loading spinner overlay for AJAX library switching
- Series grid with stacked-cascade multi-cover cards
- Empty state when no series found
- Pagination with Previous/Next links
- SeriesCard sub-template linking to filtered bookshelf view
Add 'Series' nav link in header between 'All Books' and 'Collections'.
Make series badge on book detail page clickable, linking to
/bookshelf?series_filter=<name>&sort=series.
Add 'Continue Series' option to restore system collection modal.
Changed the 4 default system collection names from kebab-case to Title Case
with spaces for better readability and professional appearance:
Changes:
- "continue-reading" → "Continue Reading"
- "recently-added" → "Recently Added"
- "recently-read" → "Recently Read"
- "not-started" → "Not Started"
Implementation details:
- Collection Name field: Updated to Title Case (user-visible identifier)
- QueryType field: Unchanged, remains kebab-case (internal switch/case logic)
- All map keys updated to use new Title Case names as lookups
- Restore modal option values updated to match new names
Files modified:
- internal/handlers/auth.go: Default collection creation for new users
- internal/handlers/dashboard.go: Restore endpoint validation map
- internal/services/dashboard_service.go: System collection metadata map
- templates/restore_system_collection_modal.templ: Form option values
Benefits:
- Cleaner, more professional display names for end users
- Consistent with existing restore modal UI labels
- Improved user experience with properly formatted collection names
- Internal QueryType identifiers remain unchanged for code logic
Add two new template components:
1. CollectionModal(collection CollectionData)
- Reusable modal for both creating and editing collections
- When collection.ID is empty: shows "Create Collection" form
- When collection.ID is set: shows "Edit Collection" form with pre-filled data
- Features:
* Name and description fields
* Icon picker with search input and emoji grid
(grid populated dynamically by JavaScript)
(supports typing emoji directly or searching by keywords)
* Color selection buttons (blue/red/yellow/green/purple)
* HTMX form submission (hx-post for create, hx-put for update)
- HX-Redirect to /collections after successful submission
2. RestoreSystemCollectionModal()
- Modal for restoring deleted system collections
- Dropdown with options: Continue Reading, Recently Added,
Recently Read, Not Started
- HTMX form submission to /api/dashboard/restore-system-collection
- HX-Redirect to /collections after restoration
Both modals:
- Use fixed inset-0 positioning with black/70 backdrop
- Inherit theme from parent page (no html/head/body tags)
- Include close button (✕) that calls closeCollectionModal()
- Follow existing card styling conventions
- Use CSS custom properties for theming (--bg-secondary, --text-primary, etc.)
