Phase 3: Complete device page functionality fixes
- Add copyToClipboard function to device-management.ts:
- Uses navigator.clipboard.writeText() for copying
- Shows success/error toast notifications
- Already exported in Alpine.store, now properly defined
- Fix typo in devices.templ: change 'regerate-token' to 'regenerate-token'
- Add HTMX support to RegenerateDeviceToken handler:
- Returns HTML with reload script for HTMX requests
- Preserves JSON response for API calls
The regenerate token button now works via HTMX (hx-put) instead of
Alpine.js, matching the pattern used elsewhere in the app.
Removed 470 lines of inline JavaScript from devices.templ:
- Extracted all device management functions to device-management.ts
- Added x-data="devices" and x-init for event delegation
- Converted static onclick handlers to @click
- Dynamic content (edit/delete mapping buttons) uses data attributes
- Event delegation handles clicks on dynamically generated buttons
The device-management.ts already had the updated loadShelfMappings() function with data-action attributes for event delegation.
- Remove max-w-7xl containers from all page templates
- Replace with w-full for full-screen width utilization
- Maintain padding for readability
- Admin templates: modify inner content div only (preserve sidebar layout)
- Display sync URLs for Kobo devices with copy button
- Display auth tokens for KOReader devices with copy button
- Add regenerate token button with confirmation
- Show warning about token invalidation
Template changes:
- Update page titles: "Bookmann" → "Bookhoard"
- Update header branding and navigation text
- Regenerate compiled .go templates from .templ sources
- Update all UI references in HTML templates
This is part 3 of the project rename to Bookhoard.
Enhance device settings modal with collection view preferences:
- View mode selection (grid, list, compact)
- Sort order options (name, created, book count, recent)
- Items per page configuration (12, 24, 48, 96)
- Show/hide cover images toggle
- Show reading progress indicators toggle
Technical implementation:
- Stores device-specific settings in collections.view_settings JSONB
- Updates all collections when device preferences change
- Loads existing settings when opening modal
- Falls back to sensible defaults
This allows users to customize how their collections appear on
different devices (Kobo, KOReader, Web, Mobile) for an optimal
reading experience per platform.
- Add GetDevicesData() to DeviceHandler (returns raw data, not JSON)
- Update devices template signature to accept pre-rendered data
- Add server-side rendering of devices and pending registrations
- Update JavaScript to use location.reload() after CRUD operations
- Remove getDeviceIcon dependency on JavaScript function
- Use templ if/else instead of ternary operators for device status
Preserves all API endpoints and backward compatibility
