John O'Keefe 8c3d919aa0 wip(rls): engine-side fail-loud + harness seed identity [pin: work interrupted]
Design correction discovered by the auth chicken-and-egg: the
decorator-level refusal was re-created a convention gate (plan B
thinking). ScopedDB now NEVER refuses — it declares the GUC when the
context carries an identity and declares nothing otherwise; the ENGINE
is the fail-loud layer (policies raise on governed tables, ungoverned
tables like auth lookups simply work). rls.WithInternal removed as a
dead concept.

- search service's raw DBTX path now receives the ScopedDB itself
(main.go + harness) — a bare pool bypassed the GUC.
- database/schema.go: migration tx declares a synthetic identity
(schema.sql's dedup DO block SELECTs media_items; with policies
live, boot 2 raised 'unrecognized configuration parameter' — A11).
- harness: TestServerSetup.DB is a raw-pool SEED handle (write
policies permissive, other seeded tables ungoverned); the server
under test keeps the scoped wiring. 33 CreateMediaItem sites use
seedCtx() — a seed identity with no visibility rows — because
RETURNING requires SELECT visibility of the new row.
- invariant test: regex UUID-scraping replaced with a structured JSON
  decode of the sections payload.

INTERRUPTION NOTE: an edit to this same effect (seedCtx) was applied,
confirmed by the tool, and subsequently vanished from disk while an
'opencode serve' process (PID 84551) is alive on the machine. This
commit pins the tree against further loss; implementation is PAUSED
pending the user killing that process.

John O'Keefe 8733e83f1f style: apply gofmt across Go sources
Repo-wide gofmt sweep: const-block alignment, doc-comment spacing,
statement-after-brace fix in media.go, trailing blank lines. No
semantic changes — whitespace-insensitive diff is empty for every
file in this commit.

John O'Keefe 646477afad feat(schema): subtitle/explicit columns, authors+publishers arrays, float series numbers
Phase 1 of the series/collections/metadata overhaul
(~/.opencode/plan/series-collections-metadata-overhaul.md).

Schema (in place, idempotent):
- media_items.series_number INTEGER -> DOUBLE PRECISION: real-world
ordinals are decimals (0.5, 1.5 novellas); INTEGER silently truncated
them (calibre 2.5 pinned as 2 in tests).
- + subtitle TEXT, explicit BOOLEAN (sidecar ingest; ABS explicit /
  Audible isAdult).
- + authors/authors_search/publishers/publishers_search TEXT[] NOT NULL
(narrators A2a precedent). Arrays are write truth; author/publisher
  varchars become trigger-regenerated display strings
(sync_author_publisher_display) so every varchar consumer (trgm
search, facets, API, OPDS/Kobo) keeps working unchanged.
- Row-level NULL normalization for the new arrays in
  set_library_type_name (A2 lesson: Go nil -> explicit NULL -> 23502).
- Backfills ARRAY[author]/ARRAY[publisher] — deliberately no
comma-splitting ('Tolkien, J.R.R.' would corrupt; scanner kept only
  authors[0] historically).
- collection_items.position INTEGER + (collection_id, position) index
  for playlist ordering.

Go: sqlc regen; MediaMetadata/handler params gain Subtitle/Explicit/
Authors/Publishers (legacy singles still accepted, arrays win);
SeriesNumber int32 -> float64 end to end; metadata_overrides adapted
with legacy override keys ('author'/'publisher') preserved so existing
user overrides survive; bulk author edit writes the array.

Pins widened (docs/contract_pins.md): raw sqlc row key set + the six
new columns; changelog entry added.

Verified: unit suite green; integration sweep (bulk/smart collections/
scanner/stats/sync/queue/calibre/pins/audiobooks) green against the
shared dev DB after in-place migration. Pre-existing unrelated red:
TestOwnershipAndAdminTestSuite/TestAdminCreateUser timezone inheritance
fails identically at the pre-change commit (live shared state).

john-okeefe 89732b041b test: update test files to use @tests.bookhoard.internal domain
Update email domain in remaining test files:
- device_cap_test.go
- device_test.go
- queue_test.go
- refresh_token_test.go
- seven_day_session_test.go

All test files now consistently use the dedicated test domain
to prevent conflicts with real user data.

john-okeefe f54508e4dd test: improve test isolation and setup management
Add Token and RegularToken fields to TestServerSetup for pre-authenticated
access. Update setupTestServer to create fresh users with valid tokens at
initialization time. Simplify createTestMediaItemID to use setup.Token.
Remove loginTestUser, loginRegularUser, loginAdminUser functions in favor
of setup.Token/setup.RegularToken. Update createTestUserOnce and
getTestUserID/getRegularUserID to be idempotent. Update all test files to
use setup.Token instead of calling login helpers.

john-okeefe 8e054bd149 fix: update test files for token handling and response parsing
- Update callers of createTestMediaItemID to not pass token
- Fix loginAdminUser to delete/recreate admin user for consistent state
- Fix TestListAllQueueItems_Admin to parse response as map with 'items' key
- Remove unused token variables from tests
- Update device_test.go with admin password hash constant

john-okeefe b2a3955c1e fix(tests): complete TestServerSetup migration for remaining test files
Finish migrating all test files to the new TestServerSetup pattern
introduced by the goroutine cleanup refactoring. This resolves all
remaining compilation errors in the test suite.

Changes:
- device_cap_test.go: Fix undefined ts references (7 instances)
  * Replace ts.URL with setup.Server.URL in all test functions
  * Fix URL references in t.Run subtest closures

- queue_test.go: Fix undefined db and helper function issues (5 instances)
  * Replace db.CreateDevice with setup.DB.CreateDevice
  * Fix loginAdminUser() to use ts/db parameters instead of setup
  * Fix loginUserWithID() to use ts parameter instead of setup

- websocket_test.go: Convert 5 tests to new TestServerSetup pattern
  * Replace old pattern (ts, queries, _) with new pattern (setup)
  * Update all resource references to use setup.Server and setup.DB
  * Fix getTestUserID calls to include t parameter

Build Impact:
- All compilation errors resolved
- Integration tests now compile successfully
- No functional changes to test logic
